RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and nurture strong professional relationships with teammates and clients.

Establish a knowledge of our firm's quality control and personnel policies and procedures.

Know the rules and regulations for practice in the State of Oregon, and Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA.

Apply principles of accounting to assist in analyzing financial information and help prepare financial reports.

May prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.

Interact with clients in a professional manner and help ensure that information is communicated efficiently and effectively.

Assist team members with ongoing assurance engagements and prepare workpapers for review.

Continues professional development through on the job training, educational opportunities, and participation in professional organizations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

150 semester (225 quarter) hours in accounting coursework at an accredited college/university.

Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information, strong ethics and integrity.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to set and manage realistic expectations; ability to maintain professionalism and work positively and credibly with a wide variety of people even under adverse conditions; good judgment and decision-making; ability to analyze and resolve problems while managing multiple deadlines; ability to work within budgetary and time constraints.

Experience managing teams and multiple engagements or projects.

Highly self-motivated; ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
