Senior Audit Manager

  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships with clients.

  • Establish and maintain a thorough knowledge of our clients and all facets of their businesses.

  • Coordinate engagements to ensure they provide quality services on a timely basis that meet or exceeds clients’ expectations.

  • Keep Partners and clients informed of important developments on engagements; analyze problems and recommend solutions.

  • Supervise, develop, train, and mentor team members, including the detailed review of staff prepared workpapers and evaluate performances on client engagements.

  • Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, etc.

  • Assist Partners in overseeing and monitoring firm wide workload, assignments and staffing related to assurance engagements.

  • Contribute to the growth of our assurance practice by assisting with business proposals, networking, and recruiting.


  • At least five years of current or prior experience in public accounting and/or governmental accounting, finance, or budget.

  • Active CPA license; will be required to obtain and/or maintain municipal license upon hiring.

  • Excellent leadership and time management skills; high level of integrity and reliable work ethic; good judgment and decision-making; ability to analyze and resolve problems while managing multiple deadlines; ability to work within budgetary and time constraints.

  • Experience managing teams and multiple engagements or projects.

  • Highly self-motivated; ability to work well both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
